The Netware server does not support long file names, installation failsThe TypingMaster 2001 installation package has a few files containing long file names. To install the TypingMaster to the Netware server which does not support longer than DOS 8+3 file names, complete the following steps:
Why ProTrainer does not appear on WorkstationsBy default, ProTrainer is not installed by NETSETUP. You need to edit NETSETUP.INI to add ProTrainer support, contact support team for details.
Why centralized settings do not affect immediately? (Win95/98)This problem occurs if Windows 95/98 is used as a server to share a TypingMaster resource.Reason: Windows 98 keeps the INI settings sometimes in an internal cache
memory and does not save these to the hard disk immediately.
Can User Manager be password protected?The File Permissions of the server can be used to limit the Managerusage for authorized users only. Remove Read permissions of TM2001MGR.EXE from normal users. |
